9 years ago. Ok, I have never used the Name Your Own Price feature on Priceline. I entered $20 a day for a 7 day rental on there and it took it. How does this whole thing work because I have a hard time believing that I can get a Minivan for 7 days with pick-up and drop-off at the airport for $20 a day with a bit of taxes and fees.

Hi half-Brit. I have used Priceline for car rental and just used the insurance provided by my credit card. I go to Hotwire and do a dummy booking. Then I take that rate and subtract about 15% to get the amount to bid on Priceline.
