    And I don't see a point in having a Traveler Article solely about the ETA scams, such an article next to warning for scams should at least cover all details about getting the normal ETA (e.g. how long in advance applying, the on-arrival fallback, difference between transit and tourist ETA, the two price categories, the few exempt countries).

    You can check the details by yourself. However, now with Vietnam eVisa facility many people don't need VOA anymore. Regarding ETA issue, the scam websites are not confined to Sri Lanka ETA. You will find scam websites wherever that has an ETA facility. e.g. Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam, USA, Canada etc.
