I called the local office to get everything settled and make sure my number was added. I was told I’d probably have to go in, but it would be quick.

Answer 11 of 15: I understand that there can be a long wait at the rental car lines in Maui. Will it benefit my husband and myself to pay $50 for Hertz's #1 Club Gold membership to expedite getting our rental?

Non-gold club renters were dropped off at a counter to stand in line and take care of paperwork, (not a long line by any means, maybe 5 minutes or so) the 2 gold club members were dropped off at their cars, and handed keys and paperwork ( which was already done) She even helped us get our luggage off the bus and load it into car.
5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.
