Well, finally, I got the credit back in my credit card statement this month. Brief summary, I booked and prepaid online Budget Car Rental at LAX this August for 3 days.
Beware of Budget in Durango. I have never had a worse customer service experience/billing issue in all of my travels. I will spare the details but I after nearly 6 months of trying to get things straight I figured I might as well tell others so that they don't experience the same things I did. Do not use this Company.
This is the most inefficient car rental location I have ever experienced. 20 minute way for the shuttle to the rental counter. Then a 90 minute wait to get to a rep at the counter. 24 people were in line in front of me. (10 counters but only 3 were open.) Then no one outside to help you locate your car.
