I’ve been using Google My Places to create a map for our trip and have saved over 54 places so far. If I tried to ask for driving directions I'd probably hear sizzling sounds from the computer. There are drawbacks to Google My Places. The map isn't accessible offline. Google forces a space-taking photo that appears in the list.
