   I am so confused with this car rental insurance stuff. I just got off the phone with AmEx and I have the premium car rental insurance with them. For $24.95 they cover all collision damage to the rental car. It does not cover liability (damage to the other car) insurance. Apparently Hertz offers liability coverage for free.
