This was our travel to and from Cancun airport for the trip we booked through Costco Vacations. We had a good experience, the only thing was that we had to wait for about 20-30 minutes to get our ride to the hotel even though we booked a private transfer. 20-30 minutes might not seem long but when it is after an 8 hr trip + 2 tired kids, it is a long time.

When you get into overseas travel and cruises, the cost can be very high - that's a risk for either shonky service or worse, shonky or non-existent aftercare. Times have changed with the internet.

However, Costco can be limited in the destinations and airlines they use. We recently booked a trip to Europe with friends who had their travel agent make the arrangements.

Hi SD, Costco has great customer service. I would suggest you call and ask them. I would not try to get around any rules just to save $55 on a memebership. It's well worth it to purchase one.
