   Rent an RV or a car/hotels for 2 months. 10 years ago. Don't know what kind of deals you can get on car rentals, but when I have looked at the comparison, it seemed like car /motel was much cheaper. RV rentals are high and you pay a significant per mile charge and they get terrible gas mileage.
