   I'd just use one of the bigger known companies too, book directly with the car rental, not Kayak.You can't talk to anyone at Kayak if there is a problem. I have booked rental cars several times this past year, around 50 days total, and Kayak is the only place it has been screwed up, and everyone at the rental agencies knows that if it is messed up, then it is a Kayak booking.
