It included all of the insurance and I had a worry-free trip. I booked again for a trip in 2020 it was going to cost me €897 for a compact automatic for 12 days.

    Looks like they have two tiers of coverage. Most cards are in Tier 1 and offer coverage for cars with a new retail price up to $50,000. Tier 2 seems to only apply to Platinum and Centurion cards and covers up to $75,000. One big advantage of Amex is that they do not allow Dynamic Currency Conversion.
