    I also just use a good old fashioned 3 ring binder inside a zippered pouch where I can put my maps, brochures, notes on things I'd like to do and hotel reservations, etc. IMy packing list is on a spreadsheet - easy to adapt it for the trip. I include it in my pouch so in case I lose my suitcase on the trip I have a list of what was inside.
