   You don't want to use a debit card for incidentals at a hotel as they may block a large sum from the account that won't be accessible. Most hotels will accept a cash deposit upfront for incidentals. Each hotel has a different policy. If a place like the Cosmopolitan doesn't swipe a card or ask for a deposit, that would be a good option.
