Having seen a couple of posts regarding the standard of service provided by some companies, I felt I should relate a tale which demonstrates the different standards of customer care provided by those in the travel industry.
With the mega resorts of Atlantis and BahaMar, staff aren't always treated well -- by the htoel or the guest. As a local, I regularly see guests treat staff with utter contempt and rudeness.

As for service it really depends on the occassion and venue, certainly I would expect better than average service from an upscale fine dining restaurant or in entertaining someone special or important; but quality of food should score at least 74% to me in all situation. Save. Okay, I am so relieved, and already impressed off the bat with Palace Resorts. Even though their customer service via telephone is only M-F from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST, I sent them an email on their website. I logged back on to my email just a few bits ago and they had already responded!!
