Reviewed Aug 5, 2016 via mobile. The hotel is beautiful and very clean a lot of food variety. They just need to work on customer service the front desk people some of the waiters. And on one day they didn't clean my room I called and she sounded kind of mad asking me to leave the green tab on the door, witch was their and they cleaned the room ...
Just to comment on their customer service- I called a few days ago to ask a few questions about sun palace and they were helpful. One possible issue for you though..if you booked on the official Palace website, there is a cancellation penalty of $50 per person, if you cancel more than 45 days out. The fee goes up as it gets closer.
With the mega resorts of Atlantis and BahaMar, staff aren't always treated well -- by the htoel or the guest. As a local, I regularly see guests treat staff with utter contempt and rudeness.
Having seen a couple of posts regarding the standard of service provided by some companies, I felt I should relate a tale which demonstrates the different standards of customer care provided by those in the travel industry.
However,if they are anything like "ANDREA", your team member @ CLUB QUARTERS, in Center City, Philadelphia, I feel a physical plaque would be in order. Andrea is an above and beyond team member. Aside from her personal care w/ me, I observed her helping others w/ the same care and concerns.
No place like it ! 4th time at the Hard Rock Cancun and I’m afraid to try any other hotel there, because I don’t think I’ll find a better place with the same excellent service. Food in all of the restaurants is great and the service is exceptional. On the beach, Roger works the daybeds and he is the best.
