I'm not sure about the other way round, though, as I can't remember if I've tried to dial an 0-800 from the US. At best, you'll be able to connect but will be charged; at worst, you simply can't connect.

This has worked brilliantly in the UK, but be warned as you move into the Irish Republic things are not so good. The Lebara SIM has given us problems ever since we have arrived in the UK.
