Synopsis. Tyrus Wong immigrates to the U.S. from Guangzhou as a boy. Though living in poverty, his father, encourages Wong's unique talent for drawing. It was the subject of paintings by artists Andrew and Jamie Wyeth, Marsden Hartley, and Bambi illustrator Tyrus Wong, and prints of those paintings are at the back of the church.
