I have never used ACE, but I can tell you that most of the rental cars at the Austin airport are on site. There are counters at baggage claim and the cars in the adjacent garage. Before moving to Austin, I used Hertz, Avis, and Enterprise and this was the case will all three.
Answered: ACE has the cheapest rate at the airport and I've never heard of them. Any information or advice would be appreciated.

Car rental companies have historically not accepted debit cards (or check cards), but now most will, with deposit restrictions. A hold on a debit card is like giving them cash.
I rented a car with Ace where I paid fully ($143.53 ) online on November 17, 2023. I picked up the car at Fort Lauderdale airport on November 30, 2023 and returned the car on December 3, 2023.
Apparently the Ace and Fox rent a car has another shuttle that takes you away from the rental car area. We arrived at a huge empty lot and was shuttled to the back of the empty lot. When we arrived it looked like an old service bay for a car dealership, where they do the service and car wash all in the same area.
Horrible Experience. This past week I rented a car from the Ace Location in Orlando, Florida located at 7855 N. Frontage Road. When picking up the keys, the man at the desk insisted that I needed to purchase the $50.00 toll road package for traveling between Orlando and Sarasota.
