ONe is Ray's IGA and for the life of me right now I can't remember the name of the other one. Both are full-service grocery stores and the prices are probably about the same.
4. Re: Cheapest supermarket chains. 11 years ago. IMHO, VONS (a Safeway company) and Ralphs are the most expensive in SoCal for Main Stream. Albertsons can be a bit less. Gelson's and Whole Foods are the most expensive, IMHO. If you want a Healthy Grocery Store, check out Sprouts Farmers Market in Southern California.

Yes there are some shops/stores nearby. There is a large supermarket 10 min walk up the road, however, if you are buying lots, best get a taxi/cab back. There is also a Walmart but it is further away. The on site store is fine if you don't need a lot. Remember there is also the on site Starbucks which my husband frequented every day.
