Costco and AAA were a couple of the many different ones listed. The AAA discount code number gave me a quote lower than the Avis "lowest price" one and the Costco one was lower than the AAA one. I just entered the code numbers in the Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) Number or Rate Code entry blank when requesting the dates and locations.

Most of the time with Avis Preferred there will be a board with names on it, if your name is there with a stall numbers, you just go to the stall, check out your car for damage, get in, go to the exit and give them your license and paperwork and you are on your way.

There will be no additional charges unless. 1) You ask for additional services when picking up the car, such as changing insurance, asking for Serius Radio, upgrading to a different car type. 2) You may get billed if you use their fast pass on the car to use toll roads.

3. Re: Is Costco still renting cars through avis at ANC. 1 year ago. If it comes up unavailable, it simply means there are no cars to offer anymore. At least none for discounted Costco rates. The same happened last summer when we went. You might have to go directly through Avis or any other rental agency and pay a pretty penny.
