If those are base rates, they seem a bit high, even with the codes (if it includes all the fees and taxes they are pretty good.) Those might be good rates for that week, but be sure to shop around to be sure. Report inappropriate content.

    So ask at the desk specifically for a 4wd. Look at the keytag, it must say AWD (instead RWD or FWD). Even check picking up the car (there are dashbord switches in a 4wd car ). We have driven Beartooth several times from both direction and never needed a 4wd. With heavy snow don't drive it at all, also not with a 4wd.

    It was around $240.00 a day, which is expensive, yes but you are guaranteed the 4wd or AWD you select. On the Enterprise website for Denver airport, you can select a Ford Edge AWD for $156.00 per day. But this is not guaranteed, or I haven't figured out how to ensure you get what you rent from a major car rental company.
