With 10 days, best to stick with 2 major cities between London, Paris and Rome. Proximity means London and Paris combination would be most ideal. There are plenty of day trip options you can make out of both cities as well. A good alternative would be to visit Rome for a week, which is not too much and then go to Florence or Venice for 2-3 days.
Option (1) London 4 days, Paris 4 days, London 2 days. Option (2) London 4 days, Paris 3 days, Rome "or" Barcelona 2 days, London 1 day. Both Rome & Barcelona really do need "more" than 2 days; especially as you will only have about 1 and a bit days visiting time there, after allowing for lost time travelling there.

Second, with 10 days, I would suggest 5 days in Paris and then pick 1-2 more cities. This will be plenty. European cities are full of history, museums and interesting places to visit so you don't need to move around to new and different places every day.
