1. Re: Europe in 10 days itinerary help. 10 years ago. Hello Suhanya S, Welcome to the Holiday travel forum. In my honest opinion you have 1 too many cities for a 10 day trip. For cities like Paris and Rome, I would spend no fewer than 4-5 nights. Venice and Amsterdam, 2-3 nights is ok but you must also factor in the travel time, which can be a ...
Hi, I am planning a 10 day trip to Europe with two kids. 9 full days excluding the travel days. Starting from Paris and Ending in Paris. Possible Options. 1. Paris (3-4 days), Brussels (2 days) and Zurich (3 days) 2. Paris (3-4 days), Brussels (2 days)and Amsterdam (3 days) Though would like to squeeze additional country/ city, but same time ...
With 10 days, best to stick with 2 major cities between London, Paris and Rome. Proximity means London and Paris combination would be most ideal. There are plenty of day trip options you can make out of both cities as well. A good alternative would be to visit Rome for a week, which is not too much and then go to Florence or Venice for 2-3 days.
Second, with 10 days, I would suggest 5 days in Paris and then pick 1-2 more cities. This will be plenty. European cities are full of history, museums and interesting places to visit so you don't need to move around to new and different places every day.
2. Re: Europe itinerary for 10 days! You'll need to use up pretty mcuh two of your days just to travel between your chosen bases. That leaves eight days to actually see something of wherever you'll be staying. Take out the arrival and departure days and that leaves six full days to share out between three bases.
