Can anyone explain how the express pass works. Does this replace the system they used to have approximately 3 years ago, i.e. for certain rides you insert your ticket in a machine it gives you a pass for pre allocated time for the ride.
Its like this, you can get an Express Pass thats good for (1) one park for (1) day OR Both parks for (1) day. This pass allows you to by-pass the regular lines on each ride only ONE time. OR. You can bundle your tickets with an unlimited express pass, a bit more expensive but offers more flexibility.

Planning on going to Universal and Adventure island on two different days during the one week visit and noticed the prices for express was cheaper on this upcoming Sunday probably because of the rain. Are the prices the same in the park for the express pass and does anyone recommend going during the rain where it's possibly less ...
The current plan is to arrive Sun October 2nd and hit Universal Mon/Tue (Oct 3-4) and then have a rest day and WDW. We are a family of 5 (3 daughters 23/12/7) and most of us like rides a lot. We'll have entry admission and I'm really unsure if the express pass is worth it given it's early October, Mon-Tue and early admission.

Typically a disability pass will only cover the person with the disability and one other person to accompany them.

If you want to ensure multiple rides using fast passes better go for the unlimited one. Report inappropriate content.
It won’t be slow, the parks rarely are. I’d always go for Express and G+. As mentioned above, for Universal one night at any of the 3 Premier Universal Hotels includes 2 days of express passes in the room rate for everyone. Can be a much cheaper way to get Express passes for Universal.
