Hi - thanks for your quick response. I did actually follow that process. It said no refund is applicable by the local operator which is why I am questioning the process. The local operator has told me I can get a full refund. So I want to check if I will in fact get one.
This forum is full of complaints about the lack of customer service, delays in receiving refunds, tours cancelled at the last minute, no call or email when things are cancelled, people left stranded, etc. After-sales customer service is almost non-existent. Best Regards

Re: AA Refund question - Next day of purchase. AA say "You have up to 24 hours from the time of ticket purchase for a refund if you booked at least 2 days prior to departure. You must cancel your trip for a refund.". If you've put a 24hr hold on a ticket then you haven't purchased it.
Answer 1 of 4: Hi there I unfortunately had to cancel a booking I made recently. It's clear from the terms and conditions that if I cancelled within 24 hours of the booking, which I did, I would be entitled to a full refund without charge.
