Hi - thanks for your quick response. I did actually follow that process. It said no refund is applicable by the local operator which is why I am questioning the process. The local operator has told me I can get a full refund. So I want to check if I will in fact get one.
Re: AA Refund question - Next day of purchase. AA say "You have up to 24 hours from the time of ticket purchase for a refund if you booked at least 2 days prior to departure. You must cancel your trip for a refund.". If you've put a 24hr hold on a ticket then you haven't purchased it.
