When walking Fifth Avenue on my New York City visits, I generally pass right by Saks. Its prices for clothing and other merchandise are much higher than I want to pay. The one exception is in December when I gather with others to gawk at the beautiful holiday decorations in the myriad windows.

The whole front of the store (which is a block long) made one massive fairy castle with the most amazing light show I've ever seen on a shop. The individual windows and inside decor was not to be missed.
