The rentals come with liability coverage. Amex offers collision coverage if you book your rental on the card. You should check your Geico policy but I highly doubt it covers to Rentals in aruba. When I rented, i used my Amex so I didn’t purchase additional coverage. Not all places accept Amex. But it’s really up to you.
The liability insurance is a daily fee and can vary somewhere between. $10 and $20 a day. It's best to deal directly with a Costa Rican rental car agency that includes the liability insurance in their quote so you don't have any ugly surprises. Report inappropriate content. lauren1974.
