When signing up you can request they mail you the insurance information. Take this with you. I've rented numerous times and none of the companies I've used have asked for proof.

It acts as primary insurance and negates the need for paying for additional coverage from the rental agency or through travel insurance. Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.
