The Navy can certainly do their basing right. This lodge sits right on the beach on the north end of Coronado Island. We had a family suite which had a queen, two bunk beds, a living room, and a full kitchen. There is no toll on the Coronado Bridge anymore and getting on and off base only required our ID cards and a copy of our rental agreement.
