Lidl is one of the biggest chains in Europe.It is German. Comparitively speaking, there are not many Lidl stores in Paris although there are 1600 of them in France.I can think of about 3 or 4 stores that I have seen, one of the main ones being on Boulevard de Strasbourg just north of Strasbourg-Saint Denis.
Lidl provides a European rather than a French shopping experience, and because of the sort of shopping I do while on holiday I probably would not visit one in France. However, I do from time to time go to the branch of Lidl that is not too far from me at home in London because there are some things that they sell that are really very good value.
