LDW coverage is separate from this and covers damage or loss to the rental car, including accident, vandalism, theft, or natural disaster. It is like a separate insurance policy for the car. If you buy it, for maybe $15 a day depending on the value of the vehicle, any damage to the vehicle is covered, no matter whose fault it is, up to the ...

Technology is such that direct links from rental companies are imbedded in OTA, airline & other rental booking channels so you don’t book a rental car when a location is closed.

Of the different companies to choose from, don't bother with Fox Car Rental. They get you in the door with their cheaper rates but somehow the prices skyrocket upon return. I should've trusted reviews but didn't, and got burned a couple of months ago. Edited: 14 years ago

Just came back from SF and I rented a car from FOX rent a car.Only thing I can tell you is DON'T RENT FROM THERE! I'm aware renting a car from SFO airport is expensive but from advertisment of $20.70 a day to fees, taxes & 2 carseats and a stupid pre-paid fuel charge of $55.62, the bill was a whopping $160. 32 for just one day rental.
