These are the usual complaints that residents have about their neighborhoods turning into hotels and party palaces. Not to mention parking issues on many narrow Marin streets. I don’t think there are any Marin residents on this forum. I would check with the county. And/Or the Marin IJ (local newspaper).
Re: Stay in Sausalito or San Francisco. 3 years ago. Stay in the city and make a day visit to Sausalito on the ferry. The town is not large and it's rather touristy. I'd say it needs about 1-3 hours, depending if you're dining there. Tiburon is nice and not as touristy, but if Sausalito is small, Tiburon is minuscule.
