Re: Avis Rent a Car does not return my deposit. 1 year ago. it is quite normal when renting in Germany to receive correspondence in german despite you speaking English. that is because german is their normal language. and your booking was made through an American company hence it would be in English.

Since Jeremy is incompetent, I contacted Avis North America by email who said you may have booked with North America but Avis.de is responsible. I sent an email to Avis.de who have said they will take 3 weeks to look it over. Better to rent with a reputable honest company like SIXT or Enterprise. I will update when I hear more.
