Northern Traveler00 -- When I booked this reservation in my head I mis-remembered & mistakenly though that last year's fiasco was through the Budget rental car company, which is a different company than Thrifty rental car. I wasn't using the word budget, small b, to talk about price. Unfortunately yes it will be the same airport.
This location is a disaster . Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys at ALL costs. It was a three hour process to get a car. Two hours to get to the desk, then another hour to get your car. Everyone waiting was quite upset, and I guarantee, none will ever book with Thrifty again. You may be OK if you arrive before noon, but they get slammed ...
we've experienced flight changes on occasion & Thrifty has always had rental available for us...one instance was over 5 hours late....you might want to try & call this number..1-808-427-6464 or 1-808-357-4023 which is Thrifty Maui airport customer service.
According to the European pages, intermediaries in car rental, the prices for rental in San Francisco, from cheapest to most expensive, I would say that they are: Thrifty, Dollar, Budget, Avis, Hertz, Sixt, Alamo... so In principle, the Hertz reserve seems better... but I want to check. It's been a long time knowing how Hertz San Francisco ...
