Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.
110 helpful votes. 6. Re: extra charge on Hertz car rental for being over 65. 12 years ago. For a Hertz reservation, they ask your age in this manner: 18-19, 20-24 or 25+. There is no mention of a charge for a 65+ driver. I called them and got the same information. I think there is some misunderstanding here.
9 years ago. I just used Autoslash for a trip to Hawaii in March. I first checked all the big car companies using AAA and AARP discounts.The best I could do was in the $700 range. Autoslash got me an Avis reservation for $560. That includes taxes and fees. Maybe they will find a lower one before March.

If you have AAA you receive 15-20% discount on cars; also search internet for additional Hertz-AAA coupons.(make sure to have AAA card and a printed out coupon-not just coupon code, when you pick up the car.) Using both the AAA discount and a AAA coupon, we came out w/ the lowest price of any rental company I had inquired to.
6. Re: AAA coupon using rentalcars.com. 6 years ago. Ok I will probably book through Hertz europe website using AAA coupon, which waves underage fee, but it says CDW and LDW is included and some additional insurance, but the terms and conditions are only some general USA conditions and its pretty complicated.
