About a year ago someone had a link to a pharmacy that you could check to see if various prescription drugs were available on Cozumel and the cost of them. I am on several different drugs for diabetes and 2 are very, very expensive.

1. Re: do we need a prescription to buy diabetes supplies in CR. 17 years ago. You shouldn't need a prescription. Almost anything except narcotics are available over the counter. Many pharmacies are owned by doctors and should it be necessary they will gladly ( for a fee) give you a prescription. The cost of medicines is extremely high.
