Re: How to book free first Friday ticket at Louvre? The site doesn't provide a reservation facility for the first Friday visit after 6 pm. Since admission is free (except in July and August)without restrictions, there MAY not be a reservation link (just speculating).

If you can recall what you saw at the Louvre on a Wednesday or Friday night, I would appreciate hearing from you. 1 year ago. The Louvre just began free first Friday nights in April (since the Covid closure), and we haven’t had any reports yet about the ins and outs. It's not Grant's Tomb. For those of us who lived through 9/11, for whom our city will never be the same, the Memorial is a living, breathing place. It's not about the selfie (although plenty of people take them). It's a graveyard, and it's still raw and recent. So, it's not "better" during the day or night.
