On Oahu presently. Used Walgreens Rapid ID Now test. Scheduled on a Wednesday, tested on Saturday, rec'd results in 90 minutes. Flew out on Tuesday. Previously, there was only a 3 day window of appointment time slots. I checked a few different states, and this pattern held for all of those.

7. Re: Need advice regarding COVID Testing time-frames (Walgreens) 2 years ago. Yes there are 2 different types of rapid tests. The one that IS NOT accepted is rapid antigen test. The rapid ID Now test at Walgreens is a PCR test and has been accepted by the state of Hawaii for over a year now.
Aloha, Both the ID NOW and the PCR tests work (NAAT tests). The antigen test does not work for HI. I used the ID NOW test (results less than 24 hours) for my last trip returning home.
