Not good on restaurants, a few fast food places like pizza hut, subway. It is good in Maui on more restaurants. We are going to both Islands.
5. Re: Entertainment Book Coupons. We used the Roberts Circle Tour 2 for 1 coupon on our Oahu / Kauai trip last month. On Kauai I used the Times grocery store $5.00 coupon and gave my other $5.00 coupons and the $1.00 discounted Times plate lunch coupons to locals shopping at the store.
The Entertainment book has two buy-one-get-one-free coupons for the trolley tour. The trolley tour costs $23 for adults, $10 for children 6-12, and little kids go free.
5. Re: Digital Coupons from Entertainment Book. Yeah, a 2 for 1 coupon for a Slurpee at the 7-11 in Lihue probably isn't worth a $12 investment. They do show Alamo & Enterprise though, so if it's 10-20% off, that would work....
You do not have to have the book to make reservations, but you will have to present the coupon (or card for some of the restaurants) when you get there. You can get the phone number of the attraction from browsing the Entertainment Book.
3. Re: Is it worth buying the entertainment coupon book for Kauai? 14 years ago. No. Entertainment Books "work" better in metropolitan areas, and the various versions are constructed by metro area. Also keep in mind the Entertainment Books are advertisment.
