It would be good to be able to filter reviews by the number of contributions or contributor level. This would be particularly useful for luxury resorts popular for honeymooners where it is the first vacation of this type they have ever taken, an automatically gets 5 starts (experiencing this in reaching for Maldives trip).

    4. Re: Please filter reviews by contributor level! 5 years ago. I'm sorry, but contributor level would help with none of what you suggest. I've seen no correlation between high review counts and quality reviews. Being a "Level 6" just means you talk a lot, not that your reviews are any good.

  8. What's With all of the "One contribution" Reviews ...

I agree that a useful Review will stand on its own. It does not need to be long, and does not need to be written by one with 100’s of Reviews. However, those seem more difficult to find, at least for the properties, which I have lately researched. A restaurant Review, saying “Yum-m!!!!!” Just does not tell me anything useful.

No one has posted on this topic in a while. I really don't pay attention to the levels because I review places, restaurants, hotels and things to do for fun. But, I decided to find out what my level 6 meant. According to the posts here I've topped out on contributor levels and all the other stuff is meaningless.
