When I got to the rental counter after an hour standing in line, the agent could not find any reservation for me.
Yesterday morning I booked a car rental from Priceline. I took a $40 Uber ride to find out that the Hertz location was closed on the weekends. I get it, there have been a lot of changes due to covid but it has been going on for months and they really should be verifying that the places they book reservations for are open before confirming reservations.
3 years ago. Kirk, you did not rent a car from Priceline, you rented from a rental company and had Priceline book it. That means you are held to the terms you agreed to with both companies. You are not entitled automatically to a refund because you had personal things go wrong.
An express deal for $192 for 8 days of an economy car rental. Company revealed after purchasing, but guaranteed to be one of six. Other deals are at least twice that much if not more so it seems to good to be true.
43. Re: BEWARE - Do NOT book a car rental through Priceline.com. 3 years ago. I agree. I will NEVER go through Priceline again. I rented a car online and the site said $26/day, but they charged me $49.94/day and would discount me or anything when I called back since I didn't select their insurance.
