When I got to the rental counter after an hour standing in line, the agent could not find any reservation for me.
3 years ago. Kirk, you did not rent a car from Priceline, you rented from a rental company and had Priceline book it. That means you are held to the terms you agreed to with both companies. You are not entitled automatically to a refund because you had personal things go wrong.
I called Priceline and they admitted that the prepayment $261 is only for reservations fee not for car rental. The thrifty car rental said the prepayment not go to their pocket. That’s why I think Priceline website is misleading you. 142. Re: BEWARE - Do NOT book a car rental through Priceline.com.
1) If your local you can only get 150 miles. 2) You cannot go out of state. 3) you must have a recent utility bill on hand. Why would i book a Car to travel out of state for unlimited miles under these conditions. It really wasn't the car companies problem this is there rules and i respect that.
Yesterday morning I booked a car rental from Priceline. I took a $40 Uber ride to find out that the Hertz location was closed on the weekends. I get it, there have been a lot of changes due to covid but it has been going on for months and they really should be verifying that the places they book reservations for are open before confirming reservations.
