7. Re: American Airlines - no email confirmation after 48h. 5 years ago. My AA confirmation email shows as a "Confirmation and Receipt" with the record locator code. Our experience is that 24 hrs with AA is not all that unusual but 48 hrs would be. You might try this: make an account with AA.

Re: Canceling an AA flight paid for with flight credit? 2 years ago. It all depends what waivers AA have in place for your ticket - these can vary. In normal times you would lose the credit if you cancelled the flight and it still operated. Report inappropriate content.
