Pretty much any credit card or debit card from a CANADIAN bank should work. I've never has a problem with a Scotiabank Visa, an MBNA Mastercard or a TD Visa. The exception, and I don't know this for a fact, may be American Express cards issued by a Canadian bank.

Answer 1 of 5: Hi All went to Cancun and used an MBNA Card ... they are hugh and issue Visa and MC ... they tacked on a separate 3% foreign fee... so if dinner ended up $100 USD a second line on Credit Card statement showed $3 USD.
