Once you have collected the car, you can certainly drive down into Greece. Here is some background on the schemes.

   The companies with lower rates (Auto Europe, Kemwel) have nothing but 1 star reviews. We'd really prefer to do the one-way, but definitely don't want to pinch pennies and end up with a horrible rental experience (it's worth the extra 5 hrs of driving to return to Nice!) The best rates I'm seeing now for one-way (3 day rental) are around $900.
