An Epic pass is a product of the resort. It sounds like you think any store can sell them, and they cannot. So you have to get it at an official resort ticket window. I don't know what you mean about going to one of the peaks. You get it at the base ticket window.

The epic pass is your lift ticket. Its required to have advanced purchase and reserve your day with covid. You cannot buy a ticket at the window this year. Note summit county where breck is, is in covid red currently. No indoor dining. No groups with mixed households. This includes lodging.
