    I am using it together with my Viettel simcard and the only complain is that its Vietnamese only! And yes, your experience is just one more reason why everyone should avoid those official looking airport phone booths .     That actually worked. I guess the official Viettel offices are the same scam artists as everywhere else so they just say whatever they offer is the cheapest option available (250,000 + 30,000 = 280,000 in my case). However, when coming back and insisting I wanted to buy the 50,000 prepaid SIM card + the D30 data option at 30,000 they simply did it.
