Answer 1 of 10: Sorry to bother, but I need expertise. I'm renting a car at the airport and understand that some car rental companies have counters and cars right at the airport, but that some require a shuttle ride to the cars.

Compare the cost of returning the carthe night before, if you want to go through rental staff, plus the cost of a taxi to your early morning flight($30) with the cost of paying for the rental and hotel parking overnight.
Answer 1 of 5: I am not choosing Budget for sure after reading tones of horrible comments. I will be arriving in YVR late night around 11:30 pm. Just wondering if any other car rentals open late EXCEPT BUDGET?

Answer 1 of 4: Are all car rental companies inside the terminal at YVR fairly similar ? I am getting ready to book my car for 3 days. I seem to remember a lot of people on here were saying budget was doing some questionable billing practices ....
Always best to check the car rental agency sites directly. Read the T&C's closely. Stay away from "cheap" off-site agencies - there are usually hidden fees. Renting at the airport is always more expensive than at an in-town location, because the airport locations charge a location fee.
I seached a lot and found out that Avis website shows hours of Operation: Sun - Sat 5:00 AM - 1:00 AM and Alamo shows 12:00am-1:30am and 5:30am-11:59pm. Which one is better company/service now, Avis or Alamo?? 5. Re: Rental Car Company Open after Midnight at Vancouver Airport?
