    so it is an add-on package. thanks for pointing out , it does make a difference. some countries charge a lot just for the SIM chip alone. I do have a backup multi country data plan. but I tend to use local SIM because cheaper and more reliable. however when you cross multiple countries, sometimes changing country every 24-48h it is tough to get a local SIM each time plus language barrier
