Traveled from NY to visit Purdue for my son deciding between engineering programs to attend. According to US News and World Report, Purdue is ranked #10 (for engineering schools whose highest degree is a doctorate), yet their overall university ranking is # 65 (best national universities) which I thought was a little high since their engineering rank is so great.
